Juliette invites you to her new workshop, located at the Vallabrègues presbytery, to take part in a discovery mini-workshop and create your own notebook.

Description

Through her bookbinding craft, you will learn how to bind sheets of paper together and create a notebook through sewing.

The mini-workshop will focus on creating a soft Japanese binding with a botanical-patterned cover. You will cut the covers, drill holes, and sew the entire notebook. Finally, you will personalize your notebook with gold lettering of a word or initials on the cover.

You will leave with your own handmade Japanese-bound notebook, perfect for taking notes, drawing, or gluing plants in the style of a herbarium.

This discovery mini-workshop will introduce you to Japanese bookbinding, allowing you to understand its principles and easily recreate it at home.

The workshop is open to children from 6 years old (must be accompanied by an adult if under 14), teens, and adults. It will last 1 hour and will take place in the common room on the first floor of the Presbytery workshop.
