Enjoy an intimate aperitif in a place as majestic as it is unusual: the medieval Fortress of Beaucaire.
In the stunning gardens of this iconic site, let yourself be swept away by a timeless moment. A heritage guide will share the fascinating history of the fortress — filled with tales of battles, power, and legends — while you sample wines from a local estate, comfortably seated with the finest view over the town.
The experience runs from 7 to 9 p.m. and includes a visit to the keep, a historical talk about the fortress, two tasting drinks (wine or fruit juice), an individual catering box of your choice — classic or vegetarian — as well as a 35 cl wine glass with a custom design (included with adult boxes only).
Classic box: Bull sausage, pea “tiramisu,” tomato and roasted pepper salad with garlic, beetroot with goat cheese mousse, duck breast and sun-dried tomato slider, tabbouleh, cheese with edible flowers.
Vegetarian box: Mediterranean vegetable stew, pea “tiramisu,” beetroot with goat cheese mousse, zucchini flan with tomato coulis, sun-dried tomato quiche, tabbouleh, cheese with edible flowers.
The wines come from local estates carefully selected for their quality and regional commitment. You’ll enjoy two tasting glasses and may purchase an extra glass or take home your favorite bottles if you wish.
For children and non-drinkers, a selection of local fruit juices is available: cherry, apple, grape, peach, or apricot, depending on the season. A delicious and natural alternative, proudly produced in our region.
