Enjoy an intimate aperitif in a setting as majestic as it is unusual: the medieval fortress of Beaucaire.
In the beautiful gardens of this iconic site, let yourself drift into a timeless moment.
A heritage guide will share the fascinating history of the fortress—filled with battles, power, and legends—while you sample wines from a local vineyard, comfortably seated with the finest view over the town.
The experience takes place from 7:00 pm to 9:00 pm and includes a visit to the keep, a historical commentary on the fortress, two tasting glasses (wine or fruit juice), an individual catering box of your choice—classic or vegetarian—as well as a 35 cl screen-printed wine glass (included with the adult box only).
Classic box:
- Bull terrine,
- Grilled vegetables with pesto,
- Mini tomato quiche and cod brandade,
- Mini roll with grilled zucchini and goat cheese,
- Mini Camargue-style salad,
- Pepper papeton,
- Cheese with Espelette pepper.
Vegetarian box:
- Mini quiche with marinated vegetables,
- Tomato mozzarella basil bruschetta,
- Mini roll with grilled zucchini and goat cheese,
- Mini seasonal vegetable terrine,
- Pepper papeton,
- Grilled vegetables with pesto,
- Cheese with Espelette pepper.
Dessert box:
- Mini speculoos tiramisu,
- Mini mango–coconut panna cotta,
- Mini chocolate tart.
The wines come from local vineyards, selected for their quality and local commitment.
You will enjoy two tasting glasses, and if you wish, you may purchase an additional glass or take home your favorite bottles.
For children and those who do not drink alcohol, a selection of local fruit juices is available: cherry, apple, grape, peach, or apricot, depending on availability. A delicious and natural alternative produced in our region.

The fortress is accessible only on foot, via the road “La montée du château” in Beaucaire. Free parking is available at the Beaucaire Casino (a 5-minute walk from the castle).
