Enjoy an intimate aperitif in a setting as majestic as it is unusual: the medieval Fortress of Beaucaire.
In the beautiful gardens of this iconic site, let yourself be swept away by a timeless moment. A heritage guide will share the fascinating history of the fortress — tales of battles, power, and legends — while you taste wines from a local vineyard, comfortably seated facing the most stunning view of the city.
The experience takes place from 7 p.m. to 9 p.m. and includes a visit to the keep, a historical commentary on the fortress, two tasting glasses (wine or fruit juice), an individual catering box of your choice — classic or vegetarian — and a 35 cl screen-printed wine glass (included with the adult box only).
Classic box: Bull saucisson, pea “tiramisu”, tomato and grilled pepper salad with garlic, beetroot with goat cheese mousse, duck breast and sundried tomato roll, tabbouleh, flower-infused cheese.
Vegetarian box: Mediterranean vegetable stew, pea “tiramisu”, beetroot with goat cheese mousse, zucchini terrine with tomato coulis, sundried tomato quiche, tabbouleh, flower-infused cheese.
The wines are sourced from vineyards in the region, selected for their quality and local commitment. You’ll enjoy two tasting glasses, and if you wish, you can purchase an additional glass or take home your favorite bottles.
For children and those not drinking alcohol, a selection of local fruit juices — cherry, apple, grape, peach, or apricot depending on availability — is offered. A delicious and natural alternative made right here in our region.
