Saint Louis Rouge - Red wine of Château Saint Louis la Perdrix

From the AOP Costières de Nîmes appellation, vintage 2022, this wine stands out at first glance with its deep, dark violet robe.
On the nose, it reveals a ripe fruit character, with aromas of crushed strawberries, black cherries, and blackberries, highlighted by a subtle touch of soft spices and black pepper.

The palate is smooth and supple. A fresh attack gives way to a generous body, with well-expressed fruit and perfectly integrated tannins.
The balance is remarkable, supported by a fleshy texture and a lingering, indulgent, and slightly spicy finish.

Composed of 50% Syrah (45-year-old vines), 30% Grenache (50-year-old vines), and 20% Mourvèdre, this wine reflects the soul of the rolled pebble terroir characteristic of the Southern Rhône Valley.
The grapes are harvested at full maturity, destemmed, and carefully vinified in temperature-controlled stainless steel tanks to preserve the full intensity of the fruit.
A ten-month aging in concrete tanks refines the structure while respecting the wine’s natural expression.

Château Saint-Louis La Perdrix:
Nestled in Bellegarde, between Nîmes and Arles, the estate covers 50 hectares of vineyards and 7 hectares of olive trees.
This rolled-pebble soil, typical of the Costières, gives the grapes exceptional concentration.
