Take part in a bird wheel weaving workshop and discover a traditional craft technique.
Description
The village basket weaver welcomes you to her workshop at 10 a.m., in a small group of up to 8 people. The experience begins over coffee or tea, with an introduction to the world of basketry, the different materials used, and the current state of this craft, balancing tradition and creativity.
The morning continues with a short workshop during which you will create a willow hanging decoration in the shape of a wreath. This piece can be used as an interior decoration or as a bird feeder (for seed balls), and you will take it home with you.
You can then extend your day of discovery at your own pace by visiting the Basketry Museum, following a village trail dedicated to basket weavers, or stopping by the shared shop of the Ateliers du Presbytère.
