BIG Rouge – Red Wine from Château Saint Louis la Perdrix
This cuvée embodies the full expertise of Château Saint Louis la Perdrix, nestled among sun-drenched vineyards and stony soils.
Its deep, velvety red robe hints at the wine’s richness and complexity.
On the nose, a harmonious dance unfolds between fruit and oak: black cherry, blackberry, and a refined toasted note blend seamlessly.
The palate is both supple and powerful. The attack is round and almost silky, gradually revealing ripe red and black fruit aromas.
The oak is delicate and well-integrated, with perfectly balanced tannins.
The blend — 50% Syrah, 35% Grenache, and 15% Carignan (whole-cluster) — gives birth to a complex, well-structured wine with impressive length on the finish.
The winemaking process is as precise as it is passionate.
The estate’s oldest plots set the tone: Carignan is hand-harvested into small crates to avoid premature maceration and vinified as whole clusters to preserve its fresh fruit character.
Syrah and Grenache are destemmed and handled with care to bring out the full richness of the fruit.
Aged in French oak barrels, the wine is rounded out with finesse and subtle toasted notes.
This red is both noble and approachable — concentrated yet measured — crafted to charm seasoned connoisseurs and curious epicureans alike.

Château Saint Louis la Perdrix
Located in Bellegarde, between Nîmes and Arles, the estate covers 50 hectares of vineyards and 7 hectares of olive trees.
The iconic rolled-pebble soil, typical of the Costières, gives the grapes their exceptional concentration.
Here, every cuvée is the result of a delicate balance between nature’s generosity and the passionate craftsmanship of dedicated winemakers.
“With every cuvée, we bottle our identity. We give our very best — and the land gives just as much. Enjoy.”
— Emilie and Vianney Castan, Winemakers
